Beginning on the 22nd of February I’ll be doing a complete read through of The Impavidus Cycle by M.A. Vice—Follow them on Bluesky. The Impavidus Cycle is a dark fantasy trilogy following Albtraum a daemon as he finds a family and discovers the truth about The Order, a group of immortals who guide the world.

The whole trilogy is rich in symbolism and honestly I could analyze it forever—hell I wrote a paper on the relationship between Albtraum and Mianna for one of my college finals. Vice also has an incredible knack for brutal and crunch fight scenes that are a genuine treat to read.

As of the 22nd we’ll be covering about 4 chapters every other week and I'll post my breakdowns and analysis of what we’ve covered every other Saturday for what I’m hoping is a low pressure and sustainable reading pace for myself—I read at a damn near glacial pace nowadays.
